Michael Schwob's PhD Thesis "Bayesian Hierarchical Models for Dependent Ecological Data" (while at University of Texas) was selected as an Honorable Mention for the 2026 International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA) Savage Award in Applied Methodology.  Robert Gramacy was honored as ISBA Fellow "for his pioneering work on Bayesian nonstationary Gaussian processes, scalable Bayesian computation, and Bayesian optimization, particularly in the context of computer experiments and surrogate modeling; for serving as Treasurer and for setting up ISBA's first investment accounts; and for a decade of service on the board of Bayesian Analysis."
