The Student Outreach Seminar (SOS) was created for the sole purpose of helping students succeed in the Department of Statistics and in their future careers as statisticians. We aim to accomplish this purpose by holding weekly seminars where invited speakers from within and outside the department give talks and workshops on topics related to students' academic and career growth.

SOS generally meets on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 pm in Seitz 300.
