The Graduate Handbook contains a comprehensive listing of the Department of Statistics’ policies and procedures. Included in this document are requirements for the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, including sample programs. Other important topics include the Plan of Study, the Qualifying Exam and the M.S. and Ph.D. qualifying process. Also included are details concerning the M.S. oral exam, the Ph.D. proposal, the proposal presentation, and details concerning the dissertation and the dissertation defense (the Final Exam).
