Peruvian ISBIS-5 Web Site
ISBIS-5 will provide a forum for presenting and exchanging ideas in
statistical methods applicable to industry and business. Invitees are
specialists in Six Sigma, business and quality management, design of
experiments, statistical quality control, reliability, risk analysis,
warranty modeling, forecasting, credit scoring, data mining, and other
related areas.
Talks will range from very applied to cutting edge research. The
exchange of knowledge and experiences will foster international
collaboration in research and other technology transfer activities and
will provide an opportunity for dialogue between statisticians in Latin
America and the international community.
The Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos serves as our local host.
San Marcos was founded on 12 May 1551 and is the largest university in
Peru. The official languages of the conference are English and Spanish.
San Marcos will co-ordinate the Spanish language portion.
